Everything about Johanna Drucker totally explainedJohanna Drucker is an author, book artist and cultural critic. Her scholarly writing documents and critiques visual language: letterforms, typography, visual poetry and art.
Drucker earned her B.F.A. from the California College of Arts and Crafts in 1973. She received her Ph.D. from the University of California Berkeley in 1986. She is currently the Robertson Professor of Media Studies and the Director of the Interdisciplinary Program in Media Studies at the University of Virginia. Drucker has also been on the faculty of Yale University, Columbia University, the University of Texas at Dallas, and Harvard University. (External Link )
